Kandi Austin's goal is to help her students find relief from suffering…find flexibility, strength, and a renewed sense of health. Yoga helps one to rediscover the happiness, the light and love, within. It is her belief that everyone is affected by the practice of yoga, because as one rediscovers his or her own inner beauty, they can't help but to bring that joy out into the world at large. When your heart is soft, your mind clear, and your body in good alignment, you experience the joy of who you are.

History & Credentials
Kandi began practicing yoga in 2005. She was so amazed by the changes in her own health that she felt compelled to share the transformative gift of yoga with others. In 2007, she received her teaching certification from yoga's preeminent education and support organization, Yoga Alliance. In 2009, she completed her certification for prenatal yoga at Kripalu in Massachusetts. Kandi leads her practice with honor and joy, guiding others in the pursuit of health and wellness in body, mind and spirit through the practice of yoga.

In 2015, Kandi opened Maryland Center for Reiki Training in Frederick Maryland. Levels I, II, ART (Advanced Reiki Training), Master Classes and Karuna Reiki are offered throughout the year at Expanding Heart Center in Frederick. Visit www.mdcrt.org for more information.
